What kind of workplace does a sports radio have?
It’s no surprise that over 80% of sports reporters are men, but it’s worth noting that female sports reporters are closing the gap every year. Women on TV are well represented at some events. Ice skating and gymnastics, which have found more space than in recent years, are two examples. Other events like football, rugby, basketball and hockey still stick to stereotypical male streamers, but newer broadcasters like streaming and podcasts aren’t as committed to that business model.
